Thai massage is carried out on a mat which is laid out on the floor. It is best to wear loose, comfortable clothing and to allow at least 2 hours after a big meal, prior to the treatment or 1 hour after a light snack.
I may use hands, elbows or feet to apply pressure along the energy/muscle lines and will apply gentle stretches, based on Hatha Yoga, to help you achieve shifts in body alignment to create the conditions for: easing muscular tension, improving posture and joint mobility, relaxation and enhancing well being. We may work to a barrier of tension, but nothing should be painful.
