Body-Based Therapies

Aromatherapy Massage – A bespoke blend of essential oils is used to enhance your massage experience. Essential oils have a range of therapeutic properties that can help to improve mood, reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.

Craniosacral Bodywork – This is a profound and gentle non-invasive therapy that supports your body’s innate ability to balance. Hidden and forgotten patterns, formed in response to illness or injury can be gently revisited and reorganised.

Indian Head and Shoulder Massage – Also known as champissage, this is an ancient form of therapy originating in India. It uses a combination of massage techniques, acupressure, and gentle stretching. The areas of focus are the back, shoulders, neck, scalp, face and upper chakras.

Massage – Massage has been practiced in most cultures, throughout human history, and is one of the most popular approaches to relieve pain. I blend a range of therapeutic massage techniques and adapt pressure to suit you.

Reflexology – This is a non-invasive touch therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet, hands, face or ears, correspond with different areas of the body. A treatment can be effective in promoting deep relaxation, reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing.

Thai Foot Massage – Having been practised in Thailand for centuries, this massage combines elements of reflexology, Chinese massage, and thai yoga massage and focuses treatment on the lower legs and feet.

Thai Yoga Massage – This traditional therapy, developed in Thailand and rooted Buddhism works on the body’s fascial and energy lines, using soft tissue manipulation, rhythmic compression and assisted stretching. I offer an adapted version on the couch.

Botanical-Based Therapies

Aromatherapy – Aromatherapy can be defined as the art and science of utilising naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonise, and promote the health of body, mind, and spirit. A bespoke prescription of essential oils can be used through inhalation via an Aromastick and, or used within a massage. You can take away any unused oil and continue to use at home.

Flower Remedies – Bach flower essences are extracts from flowers which have a positive effect on emotional imbalances and mood swings. During our first consultation we explore your current symptoms and emotional responses and make a bespoke prescription. Remedies can also be added to your massage oil to anchor their effect.

Energy-Based Therapies

Reiki – Reiki is a Japanese energy therapy that is based on the idea of an unseen life force, that flows around and through us. A treatment is deeply relaxing and helpful in reducing stress and anxiety.

Spiritual Healing – Spiritual Healing is another form of energy therapy. During a treatment, your body’s innate intelligence will utilise this energy to bring balance and enhance wellbeing. Your body’s innate intelligence will utilise this energy in the perfect way, just as it utilises food to send the exact nutrients to where they’re needed.

Yoga Nidra meditation – this is an ancient meditation technique where the practitioner enters a deeper state of conscious relaxation, moving awareness from the external world to the internal.
